Beavers

Beaver Scouts are the second youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.

Aimed at children aged between six and eight years old, 8th Gillingham has three Beaver colonies. The Vikings, run by Jade, meet on Monday evenings between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. The Saxons, run by Jade, meet on Tuesday evenings between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. The Normans, run by Emma, meet on Thursday evenings between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
