Our Cubs created origami paper hearts this week to help a community arts project aiming to achieve a Guinness World Record display of 60,000 origami hearts. The hearts will be exhibited on boards at The Deep End, Medway in February 2019.
The project is being led by the Sport Studies Society of Greenwich, and Kent Studentís Union at Medway. Individuals and groups from all over Medway, and beyond, have been busy making the paper hearts for the world record attempt.
As well as setting a new world record the organisers are aiming to raise money for The Molly McLaren Foundation and Cardiac Risk in the Young. You can follow their progress on the Facebook page Paper Hearts Project.
